Mindfulness for Binge Eating Group

A wait list is currently forming for an art-based Mindfulness for Binge Eating Group, to be held Saturday mornings 10:30am-12pm on either a monthly or every other week basis.

This in-person group is for adults ages 18+ who are looking to end the toxic relationship with dieting and embrace intuitive eating. Using art-making and other hands on activities participants will challenge the stories they’ve internalized about their body, their weight, and the food they consume. Somatic and mindfulness practices will offer participants opportunities to reconnect with their bodies and their emotions, and help them process through trauma that keeps them turning to food in times of distress.

This group is appropriate for those seeking a healthier relationship with food whether or not they are embracing weight loss medication or surgery. While helpful for weight loss these tools unfortunately do not address the trauma of living a lifetime in a fat body or the reasons we turn to food when our nervous system is activated.

Interested in participating? Please fill out this brief form and we’ll be in touch once we have enough participants!
