Class Details:
Growing up isn't always easy...but having a creative place to land can make all the difference. This welcoming art group invites youth ages 11–14 to unplug, explore new materials, and express themselves through hands-on art projects while connecting with peers in a supportive, encouraging environment. Each week offers a fresh creative experience, with plenty of room for curiosity, imagination, and making something uniquely their own.
Along the way, students will naturally practice important life skills like communication, collaboration, problem-solving, planning, emotional awareness, and navigating friendships...all through the creative process. Whether they're building confidence, learning to work through frustration, discovering new ways to express themselves, or simply looking for a place where they feel comfortable being themselves, this group offers space to create, connect, and grow, one project at a time.

Rachel Wilson, LCAT-P, specializes in working with children, teens, and adults who feel misunderstood and struggle to express their inner world. Those I work with tend to have difficulty with regulating emotions and self-soothing, struggle with socially acceptable expressions of anger and frustration tolerance, have a negative view of themselves, and feel alone. She graduated in 2026 with an MS in art therapy from Nazareth University.
