Class Details:
Unlike traditional awareness experientials, we’ll lead with our innate creativity. Through the mindful kneading, shaping, and smoothing of clay, we’ll guide you through a variety of hands-on practices that calm anxious thoughts and regulate your nervous system. This includes sensory exploration, combined with breath work and guided imagery, that anchors you to the “here and now”, promoting inner balance and emotional release.
As a culminating project, we’ll embrace the tactile nature of clay to bridge felt sense with logical understanding as you create a ceramic finger labyrinth that will be fired for take home use as an ongoing restorative tool.
Completed artwork will need to be picked up the following week after it’s been kiln-fired.
