As a deaf/disabled, queer, neurodivergent art therapist, my goal is to provide laid-back and engaging art therapy for clients like me. Traditional therapy can be challenging for many folks – from sterile offices, to needing to carry the session, to having to educate your therapist about the basics of who you are. Therapy should be accessible to everyone, and I aim to create a less serious space where you can show up as your authentic self while still engaging in the difficult and sacred work of becoming. I provide therapy for underserved communities, with a focus on resolving issues related to queer life, neurodivergence, relationships, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I work with clients who are struggling with thoughts and behaviors they don’t understand, who are exhausted from relational conflict, and those seeking self-acceptance and answers to life’s great existential questions. Whether you are navigating the complexities of your identity, moving through the heaviness of grief or trauma, or wanting to feel more peaceful and less hypervigilant, I’m here to support you. I work with hearing, HOH, and Deaf clients using a combination of lip reading, ASL, and HIPAA compliant voice-to-text software.
In sessions, I weave an existential approach with grounding, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral techniques to help soften the weight of anxiety and self-esteem struggles. We will use talk, art, and video game therapy as a pathway to uncover the emotions and thought patterns that might be holding you back. My office is an affirming and creative space where we can ask the deep questions together, moving toward self-acceptance and a life that feels aligned with your goals. We will use artistic expression to identify barriers and take meaningful action, ensuring that every session brings you closer to a sense of clarity and genuine life satisfaction. Those who work with me can expect to feel safer in their body, more self-assured, and engage in interpersonal relationships with greater ease. As a therapist, I am action- oriented, solution-focused, and direct-to-the-point, making my approach great for other neurodivergent people who don’t like to beat around the bush. If you’re looking for therapy that doesn’t feel stiff or intimidating, that infuses humor, and that fully honors your life goals and values, I’d love to connect!

Education & Training
I’m a 2026 graduate from Nazareth University’s Creative Arts Therapy M.S. program! I have completed training in trauma-informed treatment, suicide prevention, and trauma tapping techniques. I have completed elective courses related to older adults, grief, and substance abuse treatment.
CLIENT FOCUS
I’m comfortable working with people of all ages and populations, but I particularly love working with folks who are queer or trans, those who identify as neurodivergent (ADHD, autism) and people who have chronic health issues and/or are disabled. I enjoy working with folks who are a bit “nerdy”, have a sense of humor and who are open to new experiences.
Therapeutic approaches
Therapy with me is a blend of somatic, person-centered, and art therapy approaches. If clients are interested, I regularly infuse video game therapy into our work together. I approach therapy from a cognitive behavioral and existential viewpoint, addressing the thought patterns and beliefs that contribute to continued anxiety, poor self-esteem, interpersonal strain, feelings of stagnation, and more. The foundation of my therapeutic philosophy though is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which has a strong focus on self-acceptance, mindfulness, and living a life aligned with meaning and purpose.
areas of specialization
I enjoy working with clients who are experiencing relationship strain, who want to strengthen self-esteem and set better boundaries, and who have symptoms related to complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. I specialize in queer concerns, and neurodivergence – I’m even neurodivergent myself!
What does a session with you look like?
A session with me typically begins with a check-in to discuss progress, challenges, and changes in the time since we last met. After that, the session is conversational and art-focused. I like to offer directive interventions that focus in on one challenge or goal at a time, but am flexible if you would prefer to just chat or take things your own way! At the end of the session we will reflect on everything that came up and practice a grounding closing routine before you head out the door. Clients who work with me can generally expect a laid-back atmosphere, goal-oriented art-making, and lots of fun! I like to integrate Minecraft into my sessions alongside traditional art mediums, offering a more modern approach to therapy!
How do I know if we’re a good fit?
We’ll be a good fit if the idea of traditional talk therapy feels a bit stiff or intimidating, and you feel excited (or at least curious) about using art-making and/or Minecraft to tackle therapy. You might feel comfortable with me if you’re looking for an affirming, lived-experience perspective, and want a provider who truly “gets it.” If you are more comfortable in a laid-back atmosphere and want to feel grounded and supported while you explore existential questions, you might find therapy with me rewarding!
As therapy progresses, you should expect to feel increased safety, self-assurance, and comfort navigating interpersonal relationships. You’ll feel more capable of achieving your goals and surviving overwhelming emotions or challenges when they come up. You’ll have a better understanding of how your body reacts to trauma triggers, and feel more confident in handling these reactions. By the time we reach the end of our work together, you can expect to feel a greater sense of contentment, competency, and control over your life.
