Class Details:
There’s something sacred about the bond you share with your pet. This retreat invites you to slow down and translate that love, joy, and history into something tangible.
Before the class, you’ll send Sarah a favorite photo of your beloved companion. She'll transform it into a ready-to-use iron-on transfer so that when you arrive, you can settle in and begin stitching right away. With gentle guidance, you’ll learn foundational embroidery stitches--how to outline, shade, add texture, and bring dimension to your piece--while giving your pet’s portrait depth and personality. You will also learn backstitch and several variations of a lazy daisy stitch for a floral motif.
No experience is necessary. You don’t need to consider yourself “artistic.” You just need a photo and a heart full of love!
This workshop is designed as more than a craft class. It’s a creative retreat space—an invitation to be present, to soften, and to spend intentional time honoring the animal who has shaped your days in quiet and profound ways. Whether your pet is currently curled up at home or lives on in memory, this experience offers a meaningful way to celebrate the bond you share.
