Class Details:
Create, connect, and discover what you can do in a welcoming, supportive art-making space. Art Abilities offers you the opportunity to explore a variety of creative materials and projects while building confidence, independence, and new skills along the way.

Our art class will focus specifically on exploring the creative process, building technical skills, developing a personal style, and learning more about how to show artwork in the community.

Each session invites you to work at your own pace, try something new, and experience the satisfaction of bringing an idea to life. Through hands-on art-making and shared creative experiences, participants can practice communication, problem-solving, coordination, and self-expression while connecting with others and having fun.

Whether you're an experienced artist or simply curious to see what you can make, there's no right or wrong way to create here. Come explore your abilities, celebrate your strengths, and leave with something uniquely yours.

We will bring new materials and inspiration each week, and you are welcome to follow along or use the materials to make what calls to you. Media include, but are not limited to, painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, clay, sewing, fiber arts, collage, and printmaking.

Through art-making, Evelyn (from Spotted Rabbit Studio) will encourage you to engage socially with other students, practice skills important for independence, and strengthen your self-image.
