In-Network Insurance
Some of our therapists are in-network with MVP commercial plans. Unfortunately we are not able to accept any medicaid or medicare plans at this time.
out-of-network coverage
For those with other insurance, you may have out-of-network (OON) benefits. This means you pay up front for services and then get reimbursed a percentage of what you paid. We use a service called Thrizer to help you submit out-of-network claims, and also cover your session fees while you wait for reimbursement.
Insurance is complicated! Schedule a 15-minute consultation with us and we can let you know what OON benefits your insurance offers.
Benefits of not using insurance
Self-paying for therapy gives you more privacy and control over your treatment. Your therapy details and diagnosis aren’t shared with your insurance provider. This reduces the risk of sensitive information like an autism diagnosis or LGBTQIA+ identity appearing in your permanent medical record or being disclosed without your consent. It also means you get to decide how often you come, what you want to work on, and allows us as therapists to offer greater resources and treatment options, as well as sessions that are a full hour in length.
